Asian American Pacific Islander

Heritage Month

In Celebration of Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month, the Collective for Radical Death Studies is inviting you to share your recipes in our Digital Cookbook.  Throughout many cultures in China, Korea, Japan and all of Asia, ancestors are revered and respected.  Food, then becomes a key want to honor ancestors.  From food offerings to the kitchen, foodways remind us that it is important to Feast with our Ancestors.

A Feast With Our Ancestors

Many last rituals involve food and feasting with our ancestors allow us to remember and celebrate their lives.  We invite you to record and share an up to 5-minute audible memory of you and your loved one.
